With a background in carpentry, I’ve always loved making and working with my hands. At work, that’s meant building structures to help measure water levels, while at home, I’ve always had a project on the go.
Naturally, I learn through doing, so it feels only fitting to give it a try and turn my passion into something bigger. This is where Crafted By Zeigler comes in. My vision is to spend more of my time bringing creative ideas to life — designing and building high-quality pieces that are made to last.
Becoming a dad early in life has been one of my biggest lessons. It’s taught me to appreciate the little things, make thoughtful choices, and carry those values into both my personal life and the projects I take on with Crafted By Zeigler.
Just last week, my flatmates and I headed down south for a wee ski mission. The timing was mint — a fresh dusting had just landed, and I managed to get some night skiing in for the first time. It was pretty cold for us North Islanders, but that’s where our Cactus gear came in a treat.
It’s fair to say I’m a little hooked on Cactus gear. My family often gives me shit when I turn up with another piece. I just tell them I’m stoked to support a business making a positive impact in an industry that too often produces wasteful, short-lived products.
