The Outbound Trousers are built for everything on the other side of full-noise workwear. Riding into town, knocking off jobs around home, heading away for the weekend, or sitting through a meeting while thinking about somewhere better to be.

They’re made from a breathable cotton-rich fabric with nylon for extra durability and a touch of stretch so they move when you do. A gusseted crotch and articulated knees give you room to pedal, crouch, climb and generally get on with things, while the pockets are generous without making you look like you’re carrying half the workshop.

They’re casual enough for the pub, capable enough for the outdoors, and properly built where it counts. In short: everyday trousers, done the Cactus way.

Pretty straightforward. Wear them, get them dirty, wash them, repeat.

• Machine wash cold with similar colours
• Use a mild detergent
• Wash inside out to help keep the outside looking respectable for longer
• Close zips before washing
• Do not use bleach
• Line dry where possible
• Avoid high heat when washing or drying
• If ironing is required, use a low heat
• Expect the cotton-rich fabric to soften and develop some character over time
