Tired of waterproof breathable jackets that wear out, wet through and generally give up before you do? The Pluvial Rain Jacket is built for people who need gear that actually keeps weather on the outside.

Made from ultra tough 3 layer WTF3 fabric, this is a proper rain shell for rough Australian conditions. Rain, wind, sleet, snow, sideways alpine filth and whatever else gets thrown at you from Tassie to the Snowies to the Vic High Country.

Based on the same thinking as our proven Mountain Jacket, the Pluvial has a longer cut for extra coverage. It helps keep your shorts dry, protects your backside when you sit down for a brew in the rain, and gives you one less thing to complain about when the weather turns feral.

• To keep your Pluvial Rain Jacket doing its job, we recommend washing and drying it after any big mission.
• Machine wash on a warm cycle, 40°C, using a small amount of liquid detergent.
• Rinse twice and keep the spin cycle low to reduce creasing.
• Do not use powder detergents, fabric softeners, conditioners, stain removers or bleach. They can mess with the fabric performance, which is the whole point of the jacket.
• Do not wash with heavily soiled clothing.
• Do not dry clean.
• Use non chlorine bleach only when needed.
• Tumble dry on medium heat to help rejuvenate the DWR coating.
• No dryer? Drip dry, then iron on low heat with no steam to help bring the DWR coating back to life.
• Close all zips before washing. They’ll last longer.
• Over time, you may need to restore the DWR coating. We recommend using ReviveX Durable Water Repellent Spray.
• Do not use permanent marker or any other solvent on the lining of your garment.
• If you snag it on a rock, branch, ski edge or some other bit of Australian outdoor nonsense, send it back to us. We’ll patch it up and get it back to work.
