I recently replaced my worn out 10 year old swanndri waimak oilskin with the titan jacket. After 2 weeks, it's been christened with everything from pushing through sholder high gorse to sheep shit from righting a cast ewe to breakfast at the cafe (after a good rinse). I'm very happy with the upgrade and would certainly do it again. Only quality issue I have is the dome on the back of the collar seems to be miss match or crimped too hard and won't clip togeather. I haven't raised it with cactus as the inconvenience of sending it back for repair out weighs the minor loss of function. Only down sides I find is the synthetic lining gets uncomfortably hot and sweaty if you get into anything too physical, my previous jacket had a wool lining which breathed great but was slower drying. Also the pockets tend to sit open, my pockets are now full of hay from freeding stock and rain drives in quite easily, a simple storm flap with a dome would fix that. Even though a wool lining and storm flaps on pockets would probably add cost it would really make it the best it could be in my eyes for my use case, over all though it's a fantastic jacket and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another in the future.
